During the 6 years that the program actually had enough equipment to produce video programs more than 100 students shared in the awards and recognitions you see listed below. More than 70 percent of those students went on to college or the military, several have earned their Masters degree. In its short-lived existance, CVSRTV was THE most successful and honored high school television production vocational program in the Chicago Public school system.
Mr. Badesch is also the news anchor on WGN Radio 720 AM (http://www.wgnradio.com/about/listen) Friday nights from 10:30pm to 5:00am Saturday morning. He is also on the board of directors of the Two Year - Small College division of the Broadcast Educators Association.
